Founder & Proprietor of the Robert J. Barnat Insurance coverage Company in Framingham
Robert J. Barnat, 77, of Ashland, Massachusetts, handed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at Massachusetts Common Hospital surrounded by his household. Born in Methuen, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Linehan) Barnat.
Raised in Methuen, MA, Bob graduated from Methuen Excessive Faculty in 1963 and Merrimack School in 1967. He began his profession in insurance coverage in 1968, later employed with Allstate out of Sears within the Natick Mall, the place he made many lifetime mates. In 1990 he opened the Robert J. Barnat Insurance coverage Company in Framingham, constructing his enterprise over the subsequent three many years. His legacy of caring for his clients will probably be continued by his son, John Barnat, and trusted colleague, Lori Bruneau.
Bob was an avid sailor, internet hosting many mates aboard his sailboat, the “Excessive Threat,” in Boston, Gloucester and Falmouth. He beloved to golf with mates and ski in Vermont at Killington & Magic Mountain.
Bob was a faithful, superb father and loving grandfather. He’s survived by his son John & John’s spouse Sarah of East Boston and his granddaughters, Ellen Mary & Holly Marion. Bob can also be survived by his siblings, Barbara DeFruscio & her husband Tony of Salem, NH, and Daniel Barnat & his companion Thomas Monteleone of Waltham, and his longtime companion, Nancy LaBrecque of Ashland.
Household and mates will honor and keep in mind Bob’s life by gathering for visiting hours within the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Residence, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Wednesday, September twenty seventh from 1-3PM.
